Terms of use
Draft maintained by the Scoutly team. Scoutly is in early beta; these terms will be reviewed by legal counsel before general availability.
1. Who can use Scoutly
Scoutly is designed for athletes aged 14 and over. Athletes under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian confirmed on their profile. Clubs, scouts and coaches must represent a real organisation and register truthful information.
2. Athlete profiles
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you publish, including statistics, media and club history. You keep ownership of the content you upload and grant Scoutly a licence to display it according to the visibility you choose.
3. Contacting athletes
Clubs cannot message athletes directly. Every approach is a contact request. For athletes under 18, only a confirmed guardian can approve or decline it. Contact details are shared only after approval, and approval can be withdrawn at any time.
4. Prohibited behaviour
No harassment, no impersonation, no fake clubs, no scraping, no sharing of another person's contact details, and no content that sexualises, endangers or exploits a minor. Accounts that break these rules are removed without notice.
5. Availability
Scoutly is provided as is during beta. We may change or interrupt features, and we do not guarantee that any athlete will receive club interest or a sporting opportunity.
6. Contact
Questions about these terms or a report about a profile can be sent to the Scoutly team through the address published on the site.
